How to Help

Rotherham Talking Newspaper is a local registered charity run almost entirely by volunteers. We receive no regular local or national funding. Every penny needed to keep the charity going has to be raised either by direct donations or by fund raising events

Below are ways in which you can help

 

 Direct cash donations

Pop into to our offices with any cash that you with to donate and have a cup of tea or coffee with us. Alternatively give us a ring on 01709 522429 and we will gladly pick up any cash donation from you.

All donations are receipted.

Please make cheques payable to:

Donations of CDs, DVDs, and Talking Books

Donations of unwanted CDs, DVDs, or Talking Books are always welcome. These can be re-sold to raise funds for the Talking Newspaper. You can either drop the items in at our offices or just ring us on 01709 522429 and we will gladly collect them

Tombola Items

At our Listener fairs, held throughout the year we usually have a Tombola Stall to raise money for the charity. Donations of items that can be used on these stalls are always welcome. You can either drop any suitable items in at our offices or just ring us on 01709 522429 and we will gladly collect them

 

   Donations of Soft Toys

Throughout the year we collect soft toys which we clean, re-pack, and then use in our popular "Teddy Tombolas" at various shows throughout the year. If you have any soft toys that you wish to donate then you can either drop them in at our offices or just ring us on 01709 522429 and we will gladly collect them.
